Design With Jaems

Our process is simple and tailored with you in mind.

Discovery Phase: We develop a close and harmonious relationship in which we all understand each other’s feelings and ideas with communication. We want this to be an organic experience from start to finish.

Design Phase: Please come to us with your thoughts, desires and needs. This is where we dig deep and find out what it is that you are looking to achieve. Whether a repair need, re-purposed jewelry or your custom one of a kind design for yourself or your special someone. Pictures are highly recommended as well.

Comfort Zone Phase: Such an intricate part of the process that revolves around complete transparency. We strive to get you in your comfort zone, preferably after tax. Since we work with narrow margins, we really know where and how to cut unnecessary costs out of the equation. Half down when you are ready and the other half due upon completion.

Detail Phase: We go over what choice of metal you prefer. 10k, 14k, 18k or platinum. Stone selection, moissanite, lab diamond, natural diamond or gemstones. The feel of your design, modern, classic, vintage, trendy or anything maybe something entirely unique. If it’s not structurally feasible, we pivot until it is.

Work Phase: Once we have the green light on your project and you’re within your comfort zone, the magic begins. In most cases, you will see a rough sketch to ensure we have the right direction. The design is sent to Vietnam, where myself and my CAD designer come up with a digital footprint. It is then printed in a 3D printer and casted in your desired metal in either New York, Chicago or Richmond. Your project is then sent back to our boutique where we hand deliver to our jeweler in D.C. for all the stone setting, tightening and final polishing to finalize in all its beauty. Projects are case by case and can be anywhere from 2- 6 weeks for completion.
